A Note from Nancy Price

My name is Nancy Price running for Nevada Congressional District 2 currently held by Republican Dean Heller. I am running in order to remove at least one obstructionist from Congress. These Republicans (not all Republicans) have stated publicly that they don’t want President Obama to succeed. Once elected governance should replace politics.

I retired as Chief Master Sergeant with 24 years of military service. Most of my time was in Intelligence. My education centers around Public Policy, completing classwork for a PhD. I am a former Regent of the University and Community College System of Nevada. I was elected in 1992 and served until 1998. During that time I received the Ethics in Government Award from Common Cause. I also worked at Nevada Bell. My name was Bogan then. More information on my education and experience can be found on my website.

I am married to former Assemblyman Bob Price. Some of you out there may understand that I am known as “Bob Price’s wife.” I tell you this because I not only ask for your vote, I ask that you talk to others — oh about 14 others to get them to vote November 2. They may know me as Chief Price or Regent Price or “Bob Price’s wife” or not at all. Now you can tell them who I am and why I’m running. There is an issue page and contact information on the website as well as facebook and twitter.

This is Nevada. Word of mouth can make the difference. Heller’s previous opponent lost by 5%. Since then the number of registered voters has changed. Harry Reid will have the best get-out-the-vote ever, Republicans are in turmoil, two of Heller’s primary opponents are helping me, and I’m working very very hard to win. Help me help our President because, “America is great because she is good. If America ceases to be good, America will cease to be great.” (attributed to Tocqueville but not really)
