Credentials Committee Report, Establishment of a Quorum
 
  • 40% of the “authorized” delegates. (90 Delegates Authorized X 0.40 = 36 Delegates present)
  • Motion to establish a quorum, Second to Motion, Majority Vote to establish quorum.
10:25 AM Rules Committee Report
 
  • Reading of the Rules to be used in conducting the business of the convention
  • Motion to adopt the rules, Second to Motion, Majority Vote to adopt rules

  • During lunch, delegates may mingle with others and choose/align themselves according to candidate preference

  • Call to the Floor Tellers to count the preference groups
  • Verify preference group viability
  • Delegates from “non-viable” candidate groups may choose whether to realign as necessary with viable candidate groups
    (viability = 90 Delegates X 15% = 90 x .15 = 14 Delegates)
